Funding to help meet the financial needs for domestic graduate students is made up from one or more of the following internal and external funding sources: awards, fellowships, scholarships, teaching assistantships, research assistantships, or graduate assistantships.
All funding is contingent on continuous registration as a full-time student, continued satisfactory performance in the program and fulfillment of your funding-related employment obligations.
Please visit Faculty of Graduate Studies – York Graduate Fellowship for a detailed breakdown of graduate funding at York University.
Domestic and International applicants to the Digital Media Graduate program may also be eligible to apply for scholarships of $10,000/year for up to 2 years (Masters) or 4 years (PhD) through The Vision: Science to Applications (VISTA) program, funded by the Canada First Research Excellence Fund. Applicants to the Digital Media program who have identified and confirmed a supervisor who is a VISTA Core or Associate member may apply following the VISTA Graduate Scholarships guidelines. Awards are in addition to standard York University graduate student funding and/or external funding. Deadline: April 2nd.
